PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana

PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana is a flagship Government of India scheme aimed at providing free electricity to residential households through rooftop solar systems.

PM-KUSUM Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) is focused on empowering farmers by enabling clean and affordable solar energy solutions.

  • Solar pumps for irrigation.

Grid Connected Solar Power Plants (Component A)

Component A of PM-KUSUM promotes installation of grid-connected solar power plants to strengthen rural electricity infrastructure.

  • Capacity up to 2 MW solar power plants.
  • Power purchase agreement with DISCOM.
  • Stable income source for farmers and investors.

OFF Grid Solar Pumps (Component B)

This component supports installation of standalone solar-powered irrigation pumps for agricultural use.

Grid Connected Solar Pump (Component C – IPS)

Component C (Individual Pump Solarisation) enables farmers to connect solar pumps with the grid.

Solarization of Feeders (Component C – FLS)

Feeder Level Solarisation ensures reliable daytime electricity supply to agricultural feeders through solar power.

Mukhyamantri Nishulk Bijli Yojana

A state government initiative providing free or subsidized electricity to eligible households, ensuring energy affordability.

₹17,000 State Subsidy
